What do I like _ Deep Purple , of course- that it is live -even better! What blows-I own a Sony SACD player S9000es and it doesn" t recognize SACDs that are hybred!Buying (and spending big $ ) on what are labeled as SACD isn"t always what you expect- a lot of albums being re-released as SACD are in fact not!Though it plays on my player, it is not recognized as such and plays in the CD mode-what gives here! I have a 4- channel Pioneer QX949, 4 Sansui sp 90000 speakers and a very expensive SAC/DVd player, so you would think something billed as SACD would playas billed. The only SACD I have purchased so far that would register as SACD on this player is: Elton John, Madman Across The Water-This album I highly recommend as being a tru SACD. Love the album -hate being deluded into thinking( by record companys) that they are selling you a SACD when in fact it's just a excellent album with a "SACD" jacket.-Dave W.Read full review
The sound quality of the disc is very good. The performance is lacking the energy of Made In Japan. Also missing is Child In Time. Although it is nice to have another live album from this tour, it pales in comparison to the expanded/remastered version of Made In Japan.
