    All the quality, a fraction of the hype

    I'll keep this short and to the point. Looking for Lucky is an excellent album. It's relaxing and upbeat. The band plays seamlessly together and with great technical skill, but it's also obvious they're having fun and enjoying new sounds. It's always been an American sound, but they have country and bluegrass elements for the listener. That said, it definitely isn't mindless or without a purpose. There are searing indictments and calls for a greater good, and whether they live up to "Drowning" and other classics I'll leave up to you. This album didn't get much recognition, though perhaps it is for the better as that often contributes little to the actual product. The band hasn't broken up and they're still doing well.

    Lucky -the latest from Hootie & The 'Fish

    These guys are not trying to reinvent the wheel per usual - just good solid songs that you can sing along with, have a gooey blender drink on the deck and enjoy.... I am going to see Hootie on August 8/9 and wanted to have a listen to the new material - they are playing at a small venue, not a bad seat in the joint - if you've ever seen these guys live, they do not diappoint. Fun had by all for sure. Lucky....

    The Best Hootie album

    I watched Hootie and the Blowfish get interviewed by Matt Penfield's show "Sound-Off" and they claimed that "Looking For Lucky" was their best album so I had to hear it...they are right, it is the best album, even better than "Cracked Rear-View"!

    Almost as good as the classic cd- CRACKED REAR VIEW -if you are a Hootie fan then you will like this cd-

    Looking for Lucky

    If you are a Hootie and a Blowfish fan, than this CD is a must have item for your collection. I listen to it everyday and night...I am not sick of it yet. They market the CD at their concerts, but I bought if off half.com for a fraction of the price. Get this CD you will not be sorry
