    Modern Thrash Done Right

    Tankard are still going strong 30 years into their frantic, boozy career. This album is refreshingly Heavy. This is modern Thrash done right! There are some misses here. I'm not really a fan of the thrash duet with Doro Pesch (The Metal Ladyboy), while a few of the songs toward the end of the album aren't very memorable, lacking great choruses or outstanding lead guitar work. But songs like Rapid Fire, Not One Day Dead & the title track.make this a better than average modern thrash metal album. This is one of the best albums of 2012. Not as good as Kreator's Phantom Antichrist, but definitely heavier at times. Tankard rarely if ever disappoints.
