Good to be able to switch from lbs n ozs to grams but the disc to zero your weighing isn’t as easy to use as my last Salter add n weigh scales which had a little lever. The bowl is tiny compared again to my previous scales. I sadly dropped them and the scales broke but still have the big orange bowls I can use. The scales were my Mum’s, I hope my new ones last years and years also!

I purchased these scales as a back up for my digital scales (in case I didnt have batteries in ). Big mistake, I would have been better buying batteries. The scales weren't accurate. They look good, will let my grand daughter use them when she does role play, so they haven't gone to waste

‘Had one of these almost 40 years ago when I worked at Salter’s. Absolutely fantastic, compact little gadget but only 4 stars as the bowl is a third of the size of the original so you could add, weigh AND mix in it.

I purchased this item to replace a 30 year old one which had been dropped. I like the wieght units being separate on the base, but the bowl provided with it is a lot smaller than the old one, which makes it difficult to wiegh out some ingredients. Overall, the quality of construction is good, but the bowl tends to jam onto the base during storage - half a millimetre bigger would have been better.

These are good scales but could be bigger with a bigger bowl. Difficult to tell the size when viewing online. It does the job, but would have chosen a larger one if had seen it in a shop.
