    The audio reader is so bad I'll have buy a copy of the book to read myself.

    I have read many works by this author and liked them and thought an audio book my be a nice change. My mistake was in buying an audio book without being familiar the reader. of the book. This is the worst "reading" I have ever had the displeasure of hearing. Her voice is memorable only in its dullness. Her attempts at "voicing" the various characters is so awful that when it is not laughable it is pathetic. I have not be able to endure the agony of listening to the terrible voice past the fist of 25 discs so I have no idea if the content is compelling. If you don't care what an audio book sounds then it would be okay. If you do Suggest you find a way to "hear" a sample before purchasing.
