    Mini Laptop PC

    Bought to run older PC software not compatible with Windows 10. Light and as portable as a modern tablet. Slower than more recent laptops and limited memory though this can be supplemented with an SD card. Good for what I needed.

    Great little tinker top!!!

    Great if you want a 'throw away' laptop. These things can be made to run windows 7 even! Won't run Windows 10. But hey it's 8 years old low end unit. Put Linux on it and use as a laptop for where you need one but don't care if it gets stolen or damaged. e.g. setting up routers, if you fly in airplane a lot and need some form of computer in flight, need a laptop for a kid, like to tinker and turn it into all manner of things. But as a 'regular computer' it is practically worthless. Too slow and can only be upgraded to max of 2Gb! Hence these things are only worth a few amount of moolah but great fun to tinker with or teach yourself about how to repair laptops etc or just about computers in general. Worth the £10 or whatever... I own two (picked them both up for £10!). I networked them ...

    Wrong product sent

    I thought I was buying an Asus pc701, what turned up was a badly packed Asus tf101 a totally different machine. It was so badly packed that the screen was badly damaged.

    It's not for everybody, but I am happy to have one

    It's a nice little netbook, that you love it, or hate it. It's 8 years old model and even then it was a low end. Of course, you can buy a better one for that money, such a tablet or so, but this one is just cute. It's surprise, that it still working and if you put Linux on it, it's working better, then you are expecting. If you like 3D games, walk away, but if you are as crazy as I am and you want to have small piece of cheap laptop history at your home, that you can still use for all regular stuff as Office, internet, email, videos and so on, just grab one. This model (701SD) has one good feature. For less than 9$ you can buy miniPCI-E to mSATA adapter and put inside any mSATA SSD. I am using 500GB SSD w/o any trouble.
