    Plain and simple.

This is an amazing book. Its gold. I just wish I read it 20 or 30 yrs ago. The exercises are incredible and they work. I wish every body could read this book , it would create so much happiness in this unsettling times. I have read it twice and intend to read it again as each time I read, I always found something new or understand more. Definitely an enlightening piece of gold.

Okay but there are better books out there on this topic

A fable within a fable sounded good. Unfortunately most of the content I have already read in one form or another in other books, same dish, different gravy. Also, and it might be me, the writing style was very childlike and not quite what I would expect from a guru especially the way that two very high profile legal people talk to each other!! One more thing and I think someone else mentioned this - The book should be called "The Lawyer who had a heart attack, sold everything including his Ferrari and kind of became a monk of sorts". But would I have bought that - Probably not

  • The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari by Robin S. Sharma

Interesting take on a range of motivational and personal development topics that the author has managed to craft together through the story of the monk who sold his Ferrari. A great read for those who read lots of business / personal development books as it acts as a reminder of what you have read, and maybe forgotten, before. For new readers of business and development books, I suggest you read it to get a grounding of the key principles, and then come back to the book in a year or two as it will re-awaken what you first read, and the contents of great books you subsequently read. • A must have for every library.

Having bought this book 4 or 5 times now, it has always been a great success with my friends. I love it too of course and even when reading it again years later, one always finds something good there again.
