Very fast shipping. Somewhat disappointed that the edition received is not the edition pictured in the listing. The listing itself clarifies this though, so that’s mostly my fault for not reading closer. Still happy with the purchase and service.

  • Great story, poor presentation

I love having hardcover editions of my favorite comics to show off on the bookshelf, and I love the idea of an "omnibus" edition that collects a number of related stories into one handy volume. I did NOT love "The Death of Superman Omnibus" from DC Comics. Mostly because they sliced the heart out of the story (Funeral For a Friend was cut by more than half, and that's the emotional center of the whole tale), but it wasn't helped by poor paper quality and a general lack of extras.

  • Death and Return of Superman (Jurgens, Kesel, Stern

This is it. If you have ever wanted to read about Supermans famous death or his amazing return (not to mention all that happens while the world is without its superman) then this is the book for you. It collects ever comic book about this subject and binds them in a nice edition. The cover are is stunning. Especialy when you relize that its Doomsdays shadow over the man with an S on his chest. Bottom line: If your a superman fan you need to own this edition!
