Bought two, both failed
Got one of these (similar, earlier model) a couple of years back, and after about a year the baseplate element burnt out, and the steam release clogged due to scale build-up, which is odd, as we do not get lime scale in Liverpool as we get our water from igneous rock reservoirs in Wales. So it was scrap in 14 months. After another year or so of struggling on with an ordinary iron, I tried again, with this unit, but it was virtually dead on arrival, the pump was so noisy, I thought it was a step int he wrong direction, as i'd of hoped it would have gotten quieter, but it was just a death rattle and it died within an hour and so had to be returned. My washing and dish-washing machines are both Bosch, and I would generally endorse the brand, but these irons just don't seem that well built, ...
