  • Handsome, informative book on Islamic architecture of Persia and India

Wonderful book! I finished it-- took me a month, but I finished it. Very large and heavy, but the illustrations are wonderful for anyone interested in Islamic art and architecture. The coverage of the book is unbalanced-- it focuses on architecture and gives little shrift to the other arts, and it also is mostly about the Islamic architecture of Persia and Islamic India, giving little attention to Arab, Turkish, and North African buildings. But it's wonderful nonetheless. The book is in very good condition, and the price was very reasonable. I've been keeping my eye out for this title, and I'm grateful to eBay in coming up with it (and to the seller for being ready to part with it).
