Deeper and deeper into the abyss
The continuing saga of Nancy Botwin keeps getting darker. This started out as a comedy of about middle class stoners but really contains less of that than the original seasons. In just goes to show that Big Money has a way of changing things. Nancy gets tougher and her kids become more psycotic. I enjoyed this season and look forward to the next, but I am left wondering how are they going to end this tale without everybody ending up dead or in jail.The continuing saga of Nancy Botwin keeps getting darker. Weeds Season 5 WILL NOT disappoint!
If you are like me, you have been watching weeds since it began. As the seasons progessed, the CHARACTER or Aggrestic (die-hards know what I'm talking about) gets kind of phased out. And that was bad for me. The seasons started taking on a feel that I really did not like...until season 5. Season 5 features new issues with Esteban, Shane has a huge crisis involving corrupt school officials that is handily resolved with some South of the Border Thugging, and wait til you see what happens with Celia. This season really kind of re0invented the show and it was well worth the wait. I'm re-hooked!If you are like me, you have been watching weeds since it began. Its a must have show including all previous seasons! Great characters, scenarios, and just plain funny. The lead character's brother-in-law is one of my favorites.
