In this second installment of the trilogy, Emma Harte passes on the Harte business empire to her favourite grand-daughter, Paula McGill Fairley, who must strive to unite a warring family. This is the story of one woman's determination to find the passion and happiness that should be her rightful legacy.
This film is the sequel to woman of substance...thats why I bought it.. I don't dislike anything about it, it shows how the husband is jealous of a woman who succeeded, even if it meant ruining his heritage...
This is the 2nd installment of the Woman of Substance trilogy. Although it is good, it is not as good as the first. Jenny Seagrove once again plays the lead role but this time she is Paula Harte, Emma's granddaughter and heir to the Harte empire. She is as strong and ruthless as her grandmother, who is once again played by Deborah Kerr. The fashions and the cars look so dated now, but it is enjoyable to watch. Very much a womans series as it shows how women can have it all.
gripping
