X-Men: Mutant Academy is a fighting game starring ten characters from Marvel's best-selling comic book series. The action takes place on a single plane as good and evil mutants challenge each other to one-on-one combat. Cyclops, Wolverine, Gambit, Phoenix, Beast, and Storm battle Mystique, Sabretooth, Toad, and Magneto in locales based on the comic books and 2000 film starring Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart. <br><br>String together combos by combining three types of punches and three types of kicks. The 3D characters can also jump, crouch, and perform both throws and counters while building up mutant-specific super attacks. Play modes range from Academy, where you'll practice each mutant's attacks, to standard fighting game options such as Survival, Versus, and Arcade. Artwork, costumes, and other bonuses are available by completing certain modes with different characters.

challenging, but yet fun. first game that teaches.....
This game caught my attention, due to it having a x-men theme. I live the x-men since I was little. The best part of this game is it has a part that acually teaches you how to operate your guy. However the contolls are not easy to get to work. It has multiple combinations used to make you guy do what you need him to do. If you have time a patience you might be able to figure this game out and do well. I like to try to play a game and beat it on my own without using any cheats. If you are like that and want a challenge then this game is for you. If you likea game you can sit down to and figure it out and start playing right away then this my not be the game for you.
