This song by the Fab Four was never released during their heyday in the sixties and early seventies. Originally released as part of the Beatles Anthology sets in 1995, it was written by John Lennon in the late seventies and put aside. The original Real Love demo tape was given by Yoko Ono to Paul, George, & Ringo and the surviving Beatles recorded it along with their own vocals and overdubs blended perfectly with John's voice. The finished result is what you hear on this single. It sounds like the version that John Lennon would've wanted to record along with the other Beatles and the released version sounds so perfectly done. Overall I am very impressed.
Another good "Beatles" song put together nicely by Jeff Lynne of ELO/Wilburys and the remaining three (at that time). Being a Beatles fan, I thought it was worth the money for the single, although I'm not sure why they chose an original song like that for the other side? It is a good little song to put on the player when you are alone with the one you love. Kind of sappy, but a good mood maker!
Éste es el single Real Love / Baby Is In Black que acompañó la edición del Anthology 2. Tanto la versión en vinilo como en cassette sólo incluyó 2 canciones, en cambio, la versión en CD incluyó 4 canciones, sumándose Yellow Submarine y Here There And Everywhere en versiones de estudio alternativa.
