Square Enix's action-oriented extension of the long-running Final Fantasy series continues in Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, as players once again explore a strange world in which mysterious crystals protect inhabitants from a shroud of poisonous gas. Gamers can choose from four races and two genders as they create their unique protagonist, a character who returns from a 16th-birthday ceremony to discover a fellow villager under the grips of "crystal sickness." The story then takes players on a Legend of Zelda-esque adventure full of overworld exploration, puzzle-filled dungeon crawling, side quests, and real-time battles. The ultimate goal is to track down a cure for the mysterious illness by completing specific tasks and battling monsters to procure special items. Echoes of Time also includes a multiplayer component that lets up to four gamers band together in more than 60 quests and mini-games.

This game is very nostalgic and I loved every bit of it growing up, now that this pandemic is eventually going to lock everything down this game is going to keep me busy and occupied while playing. Very great game and for its value.

Fun for all ages!!!
GamePlay-4/5 AI teammates are very slow. This game is a great puzzle/platforming/(Zelda style) dungeon crawling game. Visuals 4.5/5 Amazing graphics for the DS system. Actual gameplay is stunning. kinda boxy but very 3D.Cut scenes are almost some gamecube game quality. Story 3/5 The story in this game would be a 5/5 if i began reviewing it from the middle of the game. Around the beginning the story is kinda like why am i doing this again?Then around 4 bosses later the story is somewhat complex and enthralling. Wi-fi gameplay 2/5 This game is best either direct ds/wii play or solo. Nintendo WiFi connection can be very laggy most of times especially when playing with 3-4 people. So if you liked those games or are a fan of the Crystal Chronicle series then this game is a DEFINITE MUST for you

Fun game, simple and enjoyable. Not for those who like extreme stratagems.
Taking into consideration that it isn't an adult game, it's quite a satisfying game. The game allows for switching spells and applying different techniques with ease, so that it's not irritating to change up your play style. I know there are those that would say making it easy to change up your playstyle takes away from a game, but I personally dislike a game that makes it difficult to do so. Afterall, I play games most of the time to have an enjoyable time after a long day at work. So if you like easy, enjoyable RPG style games, with sprinkles of minigames, this would be a good buy.Taking into consideration that it isn't an adult game, it's quite a satisfying game. Good FF Game
Although I haven't completed the game yet, I like what I see. The game is intuitive and story line is good. Moving from quest to quest has be easy for th most part. You should learn what and how your spells work early on in the game.

I have always been a final fantasty fan and I am glad to add this to my collection of other final fantasy games that I have. My collection is extentive and I plan on getting everyone on every system that is currently available from 1987 till the current dates. There is nothing to complain about this game or any of the others like it. You either like this sort of game and love final fantasy or you dont like this type of game and ignore its existence. Compared to all other games its in a class of its own.I have always been a final fantasty fan and I am glad to add this to my collection of other final fantasy games that I have.
