    Optimal choice non-IT controller for ZFS

    If you're looking to upgrade your old rig for modern solutions, the very first step is moving from hardware to software RAID (zfs or btrfs). This controller is special, since if has a unique passthrough mode among this generation's controllers, which allows to pass the drives directly to OS. It also removes the risk of single point of system's failure, which is controller failure. Never had problems with it. Works great with ZFS, especially recommended to be used on Proxmox.

    Dell H310 an amazing little card that works, it just works!
