    Have loved this film since I was 3! GREAT way to introduce kids to the world of tolkien! Would advise supervision on first viewing as it can get a bit scary, but absolutely brilliant! Very unique way of animation-drawing on top o af live film. Would really recomend this.

    Extremely good value and a must for any Lord of the Rings fan.

    I saw this film many years back and found it an excellent story with innovative animation work. The combination of Full animation and animated 'live' action is very much worth watching. The DVD comes in an attractive display case and the film is of excellent production quality.
