    I did an experiment. Before I got these, I just help my wallet up to a tap pay machine and it took the payment. Today, after I placed these in my wallet, on both sides of my tap card, the machine wasn't able to read it. I consider that a fairly good test. Nothing is foolproof, but another layer of security is never a bad thing.
