    Next best thing to drip irrigation hooked up to a faucet.

    Planted a little ginkgo tree in our yard last fall. It shot out buds during the spring melt, then suddenly looked like it was dying. Found out it needed to be heavily, deep, watered weekly for the first couple years of its life. This Treegator Jr is a convenient way to establish a newly planted tree's root system without the labor intensive work of minding a garden hose and rationing water so the roots don't receive too much water and develop root rot or not giving the tree enough water so it goes into shock and maybe die from dehydration. So far it's been doing a great job and we're careful not to puncture it or abuse it in a way to cause the bag to fail. Great product.

    Fabulous buy

    This is terriffic! Makes it so easy to give my newly planted trees the 12 gallons of water they need per week. Easy to set up and that's it. Water will slowly dispense so it goes deep into the ground where the roots live. Such a time saver.

    Performing as advertised thus far.

    The fill port is sufficiently large. These drain very well over several hours (depends on how full). Also, they don't have to be completely filled. I have found that simply folding the two outward segments (one containing the fill port) when the bag is half full will help ensure it empties properly. So far, they have held up well.

    This garden item is perfect especially for drought areas.

    The Treegator Jr. works perfectly for either small to medium sized multiple trunk trees or shrubs. It's super-easy to use, but be sure to ensure the rubber seal is thoroughly pressed in all the way before you walk away.
