    It's a James Herriot book, beautifully designed and thoughtfully written.

    I read this book every Christmas Eve to my children and now my grandchildren. Somehow, it got wet and moldy over the last year. I planned on giving the book to my granddaughter this Christmas, as she is in her second year of studies as a Vet Tech and hopes to pursue a career with large animals. Heartbroken that my original book was damaged, I set out to find another copy in good shape. That's when I landed on Secondsalecom. The price and the cost to ship to Canada were lower than even the book from other sellers. It arrived fast, is in almost new condition, and I couldn't be happier. I definitely recommend shopping with them.

    James Herriot at his best!

    I love the James Herriot children's books. They are soulful tales ( usually about animals) and this book is one of his best. It is beautifully illustrated by Ruth Brown.
