A Revenge For The Ages
This is the novel based on 2005's film Revenge OF The Sith. While the pace of the novel is much slower than the film the novel takes a deeper perspective into Anakin Skywalker and what's it like to be him the book goes to highs and lows which seems over the course of a few fateful days that change Anakin and The Republic Forever. The book is a good conclusion to the Clone Wars era being this is the final showdowns and all the secrets being revealed of past novels. I found the novel to be much sadder than the film which was a surprise maybe cause the depiction of Anakin is more personal but the ending is definitely something to think on. It is a story that is happening right now feel and the story of a hero's wanting power and it corrupting his ideals. Palpatine is so crafty cunning convincing that you actually start to believe the Jedi are evil like Anakin does ! The Jedi are wiped out and the Republic is destroyed ! The book is a political and personal tragedy the start of dark times ending with hope for the future. A must read novel for any star wars fan.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
