Meets expectations and then some!
A 5 star experience from order to delivery.... Can't fault the process, and the product is great: looks good, great feature set and all works as it should. I am a fan of the Motorola smartphone, this is my upgrade from my much loved G5 and I'm very pleased with the Moto G8 plus. Excellent camera, the video is amazing, especially the SloMo, and the Moto Action shortcuts are retained making it a really simple "plug and play" start up. Great phone at a budget price
I have to say I am really pleased with this phone Moto G 9 Plus. I was not on course to purchase a new phone however my original phone fell on my home floor tiles and the screen smashed to bits. Looked on eBay and found this gem. Great sound, amazing photos(it has 3 cameras), very wide screen which I use for my French studies/videos. So easy to use that I have actually surprised myself by working out most of the way that the phone works. Not being a techie person I hate trying to figure out how these new mobiles work. For those of you who just want to press a button to get to your desired destination on your phone with no fuss. I really recommend this phone. So easy to set up and use, I was even able to add an extra SD card for more space. Beginning to wonder why I was dreading purchasing a new phone. Great phone for under £200. Much faster in all respects than the Motorola G6 it replaced, and not much bigger either. It has all the features you could possibly need in a mobile phone, and will soon have its operating system uprated to Android 10, and I'm told it will also get Android 11 sometime next year. A great product with excellent features at a great price!
Bought it on recommendation of a tech-savvy friend who already owns one. I needed a phone which could step up and do what I needed it to do. I am not a gamer so this model is ideal for me in terms of memory, function and reliability. Simplicity of use was also very important as I would consider myself somewhat " computer and technology illiterate". Good phone with loud clear sound. Just a little heavy!
I bought this phone to replace an LG G4 since some of the Apps I now need do not function fully on Android 6. This phone went through two security updates and an update from Android 9 to 10 within the first few days (well done Motorola). I chose this phone because it has lowish SAR values for both head and body (0.589,0.882 W/kg) (cf LG g4 0.578,0.392). It is a bit of a beast to carry round 188g without the cover (LG 155g). 5 years on I would have expected better. It has a wonderful clear sound though. I replaced a Moto G3 with this beautiful G8 plus & I love it. The extra storage is welcome. The camera is great & the sound is outstanding. Initially I thought I would find the phone big to manage but this is not the case & I'm enjoying the bigger screen area. Excellent value for money.
