Good value. Strong. Efficient adjustment wheel. On the metal version of the same product, better tuning accuracy is possible.

It's strong and it looks as good as the metal-built version which I also own, but is nearly twice the price. The adjusting wheel is worth the few seconds it takes to adjust, because you can avoid the excessive pressure which sprung capos rely on, and which sharpen the different gauges of strings inconsistently on the higher frets. This plastic version seems to have slightly less forgiving rubber and a smaller radius than the metal one, so that there was too much pressure on the 2 thinnest gauge strings. Slackening the wheel didn't help, and in the end, I (carefully) sanded the rubber down near the end furthest from the wheel until the radius of the curve was less, and the pressure was more even across the strings. You may not want that kind of hassle, but in my experience, capos always ...

Doesn't fit the neck near the nut on my ukulele ,runs out of tightening thread

  • Brilliant capo

Extremely easy to use, buzz free and easy to get your hand around to make chird shapes in the first position. Great value, light, etc etc, just buy one you won't regret it. Only downside is it tends to pull the guitar out of tune so I just check the tuning every time I put it on. Small price to pay for the buzz free performance.

  • Good quality

I was a bit unsure about this capo as l didn't realise that it was plastic but now that l have used it for quite sometime l find that it works well it is light easy to fit and holds the guitar in tune and slides up and down the neck with ease would recommend this capo as an alternative to the heavier metal types 👍

  • Capo effectiveness

Very neat. Tends to sit more on the centre strings and therefore swivels quite easily if contacted when playing. It definitely makes you conscious of your playing technique which is a good thing. It may bed into the radius of the fretboard with use. All in all it functions well enough.
