Wonderfully acted but strange storylines
The first series was very good but this is strange and doesn’t follow the same format. Ian Hendry and Wanda Ventham are great as always but the writer focuses on the boring and far fetched plot to do with being a sleeper agent with boring men in suits and a horrible woman spy. It was much more interesting in the first series when it was all about the Shepherds and their interactions with their neighbours and visitors. But Ian Hendry is a fantastic actor and always wonderful to watch. Sadly left us too soon.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
