    Nice inexpensive 1930s syle chrono!

    I think that this watch is the best and one of the most rare Stauer historic reproductions. The dial draws from several of the most iconic 1930s chronodraphs while being very affordable and the perfect 39mm case size. If you are lucky enough to find one with a bit of age on the case, all the better. It has no running clock seconds, but has a 24 hour dial, 60min timer and large seconds for chronograph. It comes with an accurate Miyota OS21 movement which has long battery life and proven reliability track record and is also easy to replace if it goes bad down the road. If you can find one of these watches, get it! Then, replace the band with one that is more cool looking and comfortable and you are good to go. Be carteful around water in vintage watches usual.     Good looking watch at a great price

    Very nice color combinations with the black leather strap, textured cream face, blue hands and blue stem cap. The strap length is good, but the leather is stiff which I assume will soften with use. The date is easy to read. Keeps accurate time as do all quartz-controlled time pieces. Overall very happy with the appearance at this price.
