    A good solid Noir film that will grace any video collection.

    Film Noir is not my main interest in vintage films but certain actors I appreciate I like to have their work in my video library and this was Richard Widmark's film debut and I had to have it, he did a great job with his Tommy Udo character and you can see Widmark's mannerisms with this character carried over across his body of work. Great film.

    Tommy Udo Is Magnificent In His Wickedness

    "Kiss of Death" is one of the great, film noir movies, near the top of any critic's, best list. Victor Mature and Richard Widmark turn in top-notch performances, the story is terrific, and the direction flawless. It concerns a small time crook who realizes the errors of his way and turns against his criminal pals. Of course, the bad guys come after him and that's the climax of the film. Richard Widmark's, Tommy Udo character is one of the great psycho killers of all time. Magnificent in its wickedness. This FOX DVD has excellent video and audio quality and even looks good on my 65 inch, HD TV.

    POOR VOCAL QUALITY. GOOD PICTURE IMAGE.

    The vocal is so bad it is hard to understand what the actors are saying. The picture quality is good. This would be a good version of Kiss of Death if it wasn't for the poor voice quality.

    Donot miss this movie especially if you are a Richard Widmark fan. His first screen appearance and he is unbelievable. The sadistic Tommy Undo was his connection to fans throughout his entire career.
