Bad side - my cat Luvs to sleep on it !!! Highly recommend these cooling blankets. But they are thin and provide warmth…and cooling at the same time. Might buy a few more to gift.

To clarify, the cotton like side you're referring to still features our anti-heat-trapping weave, designed to regulate body temperature and keep you cool, but without the cool-to-touch feel that only the other side has. Some preffer not having a cool to touch chill while falling asleep. We appritiate your feedback!
