Excellent thermometer.
Excellent thermometer. Lightweight but robust with a very clear display and large figures which can be easily seen at a glance. It can be hung up or perched on a work surface in the greenhouse. The display can be either in centigrade or Fahrenheit and can be cleared with an easy to use button on the side. Very reasonable price for an excellent piece of kit. Fine so far
I have given this a 3 star review because I have only just installed it and it is too early to say how it will perform. So far it is working perfectly in my greenhouse and no complaints. Although possibly not relevant, I have bought the same looking thermometer a number of times in the past and they all failed after two or three years. The display on them eventually fragments which makes it difficult to read. Changing the battery has sometimes worked but not always. I situate mine in a greenhouse which is damp sometimes when I damp down the floor on hot days or mist plants and the instructions with this thermometer do say that it is not waterproof. It could be that damp eventually renders these items faulty because I never spray water direct on them intentionally.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great for the greenhouse!

Ms to work properly, I have two of them. The greed one reads up to 4 deg C higher in sunshine than the white one (in green house) an my infra red measurement agree with the individual readings: infra red surface absorption seems to be the difference. Low cost but excellent Digital Thermometer
This item was purchased as a replacement for a liquid in glass thermometer which failed to survive last winter in my greenhouse. The digital device has performed superbly and has recorded temperatures of -2 degrees Celsius to +33 degrees Celsius. It is extremely easy to use and and has an excellent display panel..It was supplied with a battery and simple but adequate instruction. Wish I had bought one when they first appeared.
