    Thanks for the safe delivery, of the minidisc. It certainly looks like it has been through a lot. The play button was broken. Stripped it down. All looks OK, used my glue gun & secured the arms. Tried it. No response from play button. All other buttons work. Opened up. Found the connection from play, to output. On board. Missing. Found if I make connection from ring, of button to very small brass point. On board. She fired up. Great. Have spent a great deal of time. Now have a push button, mounted on outer casing. Spring loaded it works VG. Hope this sounds Ok. Thanks again. Eric
