    i am confused about the model number

    It has the same model number as my old water pad but the size is different, it is smaller. I am not sure if it is important or not: the airflow is going partially through the pad and partially through the open part of the humidifier not covered but the water pad.

    Not perfectly sized for Honeywell

    Slightly narrower than the Honeywell frame it fits in. This leaves the edge exposed which can get caught when sliding the pad in or out of the humidifier.

    I've never used this type before but it seems to fit and what I'm used to is more of a wire based this is not wire based, so this is much more flexible.
