Got Even Better With Age
Ribbit King was one of my favorite games back in the early 2000s, and it certainly has not lost its charm. Although now, I can truly appreciate the details and work that went into creating this game. The graphics are pretty cartoonish, but the way the water and backgrounds are detail show that this was a stylistic choice and not a necessity. The gameplay is relatively challenging, the story mode taking hours to complete, and with different combinations of items and frogs, the player will find themselves entertained for the entirety of the game. Even though there are only five planets to play on, the location of the start and end point change, so the player must devise different strategies. All in all, the game was well worth the money spent, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a casual, cute game with interesting mechanics.
