Product Information

In Powerslave players take on the role of a slave in ancient Egypt. At one time you were a slave to a king, someone who helped construct the king's pyramids. Now Egypt is becoming contaminated by evil and your god is threatened. This god has given you powers in the way of weapons and magic to help rid Egypt of the evil creatures that inhabit it.<br><br>Visually similar to Doom, Powerslave provides a first-person perspective. Players are to navigate through an ancient Egyptian city and destroy anything they come across. Levels have multiple exits and may require the player to backtrack in order to find items they missed. A map is available and as levels are explored they are auto-mapped. The character has the ability to strafe right and left, look up and down, and jump.

    Lobotomy at their best.

    Lobotomy was responsible for the excellent Saturn conversions of Duke Nukem 3D and Quake. Both games were completely rebuilt in their proprietary SlaveDriver Engine from this game. Powerslave runs fantastic and has excellent visuals with amazing level design. The game also has some basic Meteoidlike elements. Powerslave is a overlooked gem for the Saturn!
