Positive Transaction, Reasonably Priced, Well packaged, Promptly shipped. However, the item was NOT shipped with the 3.5mm adapter, as specified in the item description, so cannot, in good faith, give five stars.

Great Music and Great Bossa Nova Sound

The original "The Girl from Ipanema" with it's Jazzy Bossa Nova rhythms are wonderful to listen to over and over again. The beautiful voice of Astrud Gilberto make this a terrific CD for excellent listening pleasure. Nicely packaged in a carboard cover, with no plastic at all in the packaging.

  • Fabulous Music

THANK YOU. I've always loved Brazilian music but got really hooked when I visited my son in 2020. It's a beautiful album.

  • Getz / Gilberto ....... what else can I say ?

Wonderful Listening in the evening , in front of the fire , with a snifter of Brandy ! Life's woes seem to diminish into tranquility .

  • Mood Music at it's best.

I gave it an 'excellent' in spite of the lousey musicians, including the singer. What made this Bossa Nova period hit great was the incomparable Stan Getz. It was Getz who sensed the untrained singer would put the "girl from Ipanema" over out of her sensuality alone. (Getz was right) The great Stan Getz !
