Brilliant at QRP 200mW up to its 100W limit and can be battery powered
As noted I have been able to use this with a WSPR TX of some 200mW or my IC-7300 at 100W and get equally good results. Runs perfectly on a 9V battery or 6 AA Batteries as it draws almost no power except when tuning thanks to its latching relays. Small and lightweight also help for portable operation. Waa suggested by a friend and glad I went ahead with the purchase. Wide matching range If there are negatives it would be I would like to see more detailed metering and a faster tune when not already in memory. Quiet, fast, small, low power consumption. Highly recommend.
I like this tuner. I use it with ICOM IC-7300 with interface cable. It tunes almost everything, memory tune works well and deserve 5 stars from me. Only what I found struggle sometimes is control it to memory or full tune. In addition, if there is imprinted illustration on its panel meaning of the LEDs, this tuner will be nearly perfect. Great little HF tuner
This is the second LDG Z-11ProII 100-watt Automatic tuner I've owned. I made the mistake of selling the first one with a radio and kicked myself for doing so. For the price of these tiny HF antenna tuners they are worth much more, because they just work. They are great for portable backpack HF because they draw such a small amount of current and only when they actually tune, they it goes to sleep. I'd recommend this tuner for any new amateur and a lot of old amateurs. I use my new tuner on my backup HF radio an old Yaesu FT-757GX and it works like a charm.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
