Don't waste time with multi-function boosters
This was my first booster I used start start my Massey Ferguson digger. One day I used it but left it attached once the machine started, so dragged it around the site and the front wheel ran over it, and i found it impreesed in the dirt! Amazingly even with a cracked case it continued for ages before giving up. I then bought what I thought was an upgrade with bells and whistles (a light, and invertor etc). Unfortunately it couldn't turn the engine over at any speed, so I sent it back and got another one of these. It doesn't have lots of features, but if you need to start a vehicle reliably this is the one to go for. I find that it will start the digger at least half a dozen times without re-charging.This was my first booster I used start start my Massey Ferguson digger. Rescue Pack 1600
Bought this after deliberating over more expensive jump starters which had a lot of extra features but didn’t have the capability to jump start my cars. If you are looking for a jump starter with a lot of features then this isn’t for you. It has a 12v cigarette type outlet on it only and no switch to turn on the battery pack when you are about to try and start the vehicle in question. If you are looking at a capable jump starter then yes it’s great at what it does, this easily jump started my 2.0l diesel with a battery consisting of cold cranking over 700amps which had been stood since the end of January and was totally flat. Overall a highly recommended piece of kit that does what it says with no fuss or frills. Arrived which appeared to be charged but ensured it was kept charged for 48 ... A Great Quality Product For A Change
The SIP 03936 BOOSTER (JUMP START) road pack has got us going twice now during this harsh winter when our Mercedes battery unexpectedly let us down. It’s got a sturdiness to it that reassuringly feels like it could start anything. The lit power charge display is just as straightforward. Its grey colour doesn’t try to be fancy & it says simply I’m ready to do the job. Not cheap but against its rivals not that expensive either. My local garage use the same thing & so that was recommendation enough. Wouldn’t use anything else. Great product. Booster that does the job
I bought this because a friend has the very same model and he has had his for years, and he uses it a great deal more than I ever will. I bought it purely because my harley Davidsons battery was a little too low to turn the engine over, plus, my sons little bike hasnt run for some time and the stupidly undersized thing thats on it doesnt last more than a few seconds turning the bike over and so I thought a battery pack might be just what I needed. It sorted out my harley a treat, got that running in very short time, and while its failed to get my sons to start, it allowed us to keep at it for a fair bit of time before it started to moan. Admittedly, there are 5 lights on it, and unless the last one is lit up, its not that good, so I think having all 5 lights is a waste of time... Once ...
