    Very Good Replacements

    I used these buttons to replace ones that had disintegrated on an old vintage parlor guitar I'm refurbishing. The off-white color looks like the originals, best I could tell. I used high heat from a soldering gun to melt the buttons onto the tuner shafts. I had to extensively modify the button holes to almost the exact size, depth and shape of the tuner shafts in order for the buttons to slide on with heat applied to the shafts. The same sizing requirements should be assumed if you're going to glue them on. I will say the buttons handled the high heat very well, not melting or getting hot on the outside or deforming in any way. Just be prepared to spend some time installing them.     Nice looking buttons, but not a good fit for Epiphone tuners

    Fast shipping, items look and feel good. But installation was a real pain. I wish I knew what kind of tuning peg they were for; the holes were way too small for those on my Epiphone SG. I tried boiling them to soften the plastic to make them easier to put on, but no dice. I had to spend a bit of time with files to open the holes larger for them to go on. In the end, I could have spent just a few dollars more and bought completely new tuners that came with white buttons like these. Would have been way easier to install and likely a better upgrade since the Epiphone tuners on my SG are hard to tighten as they get loose with age.

    Nice buttons

    The buttons were a nice off-white color which looks right on a vintage instrument. As is almost always the case at least for me they need to be modified to work in this case I needed to drill the holes a bit larger but that is normal. They look great on my vintage 1947 Roy Smeck Guitar
