    Fun and Educational

    My 6 year old loves this! She likes to draw while I read her the stories and we get to stop right in the middle and go learn something new. There is a sample lesson you can read before you buy! I want to get all the books and see what else there is to learn! I love how you are reading a story but the story is so connected to learning in one lesson you can touch on time, clocks, counting, addition, measurement and yet it seems like you are just reading a story! LOVE the CONNECTIONS you get to make with these books!

    6 y.o. Daughter Loves It!

    My daughter naturally loves math, so she took to this immediately. I helped her read it (she tends to skim over unfamiliar words) and she eagerly answered the easy (confidence boosting!) questions at the end of each bite-sized chapter. The storyline is humorously absurd, repetitive enough so they don't miss anything without being boring AT ALL. Very fun. Can't wait to get the next in the series!

    Fun Math!

    My kids and I are enjoying Life of Fred Apples so far (we’re halfway through the book). The story is a bit wacky but my kids have gotten over that. I’m noticing that my kids remember and ask questions about the topics covered in the book. (That’s a good sign!) We use the book during Morning time for math fun. PS. My particular book was printed backwards and upside down. Not a big deal for us but I was not alerted to this by the seller before purchasing. May be a deal breaker for some.

    I bought the first 4 books in this series and I can confidently say that I will be purchasing the rest of the books. My daughter loves these books and she always asks to do more. The story of Fred is silly and fun. Kids will learn more than math. Highly recommend it!

    Life of Fred - Apples

    This book is so funny to my kids. They really enjoy it, and it's fun to watch them learning math in such a compelling way. I don't use this as a curriculum on its own (and personally don't feel it could stand on its own as a curriculum), but it's definitely a fun supplement that I'm very happy we have.
