Would help if the instructions had a few more pictures of the installation process. In addition the seller mentions the size of drill bits to use, but not the size of Allen key needed to turn the bolts, most domestic / amateurs like myself who are installing this do not have access to or have a torque wrench which is mentioned in the instructions of how tight to secure the bolts. I'm hoping that I have tightened them sufficiently? Arrived on time, seems to be good product, solid.

Garage Defender owner view.
Good quality garage security and instructions included. Easy to fit if you have the right tools for the job. Hammer drill plus drill bits and allen key. Bolts included too although if using the bracket without cutting it down ( I had to, as I'll explain) there is room for 3 bolts but mine came with only 2. The garage driveway butting up to the garage door was block paved. No point in drilling into the block paving and then bolting in the bracket as it would in my opinion be too easy to crow bar the bracket out. So I decided to remove several of the block pavers, dig down and put in a concrete base 6 ins in depth. I then left this for several days for the concrete to cure. The base/bracket was too long for my particular situation and the easiest way to shorten it was to use an angle ... Good quality garage security and instructions included. The cost is competitive and the quality seems good. Easy to fit by someone with a few DIY skills and a knowledge of power tools et cetera. Highly recommended for garage security and peace of mind.

The quality of the T-Bar and lock is genuinely very good. But I could not fit the bottom plate close enough to the garage door for it to work as it should. The clearance from the bottom of the door to the ground was very tight, and the vertical upstand that the padlock fits to would catch on the garage door when opening. So had no option but to more it back to a point that it wouldn't connect. It's a shame as I was Hoping for it to fit quite snug to the door. The quality of the T-Bar and lock is genuinely very good. Less reason to lose sleep
Don’t wait! The scumbags will follow you home, they will try and steal your bike or other valuables and it’s a total pain when they do. This stops them opening it from the inside if you have a second access eg back door, as well as being a great outside deterrent. Very easy to fit, get the right sized bits first and use a torque wrench on the bolts they go pretty tight!
