    A good replacement

    I was really pleased to note that the body of this switch fitted the hole exactly of the part it replaced. Internally, there are improvements as the old sliding contacts appear to have gone, being replaced by a make-or-break mechanism, and the electrical terminals have been increased in diameter. Overall, the protrusion of the knob has been reduced, meaning it is less likely to catch on things. There is a good feel to the operation of the switch.

    Reproductions from company's long gone have a reputation of being inferior and often this is true but not in this case it has improved its function at an excellent price. Highly recommended.
