Brilliant product. Worked as described. Saved me from having to pull my hair out from frustration because my Epson XP-860 printer decided that I can't use it anymore as the waste ink bin is full. Now I never need to worry about it again. Just need to buy a reset key every so often and job done!

Excellent Instructions & Backup
I would like to congratulate the person (or team) who put the instructions together. Probably, most users will have had their printer a couple of years before they need to think about opening it up to install a Printer Potty. By this time the warranty will have expired and you have little to lose once you get the first notification that the ink-absorbing pad(s) are getting saturated. In my case it was less than three months later when I got the final warning and the printer just locked up two days later. To give an idea of my printer usage, I get through a set of XL cartridges every two months. I got my first warning after using my XP-860 for 3 years and 3 months from new. Have no fear! The instructions are very clear, with plenty of photos to guide you at each stage of the ... I would like to congratulate the person (or team) who put the instructions together. Great solution to get my Epson XP-860 up and running again!
Followed the instructions sent, although some of the photos in the instructions were difficult to see clearly, and managed to get my printer working again. It does require you to remove several screws and plastic panels out, as well as cut/drill a small hole 8-10mm hole on one plastic panel on the side so that the plastic tube can be connected to the internal waste ink tube (see photos). Once that's all done you have to download and install a software and enter the key code then follow the basic instructions to reset the printer. Overall I'm very pleased with the results. This kit and the software has saved me probably £100+ had I chosen to get the waste ink pads replaced by Epson directly. Now I have a permanent solution to handle waste ink from the nozzle cleaning runs and never need ... Just need to be careful of where the ink potty is stored and to keep it away from curious children who may tamper with it. Also, DON'T shake the potty when there's ink in there like I did. Some ink can spill out of the small vent pinhole and get on your clothes or floor! It is best to store the ink potty in a place where it cannot be accidentally dropped, etc, such as behind the printer or maybe even use some Velcro to attach it somewhere. In future the only cost would be to pay £4-6 for a waste in pad reset code every time it gives me that error message again, which I can live with as I expect that to be every 2-3 years or so based on our household's usage. Saved me from buying another printer and wasting all of the unused inks I have left.

This product comes with a waste ink pad counter reset number which i did not expect but it was necessary for me to use it within a week as Epson said that my printer would need a service. Which was not necessary so i used the number and instruction sent with this kit and solved the problem A1. I would recommend this product to any person who uses their printer a lot.
