Excellent performer
Bought to replace Trangia multi fuel burner which gave up the ghost after 2 and a half years. (This was branded Primus, no idea of model) Had to use the Trangia converter but this stove is much better. Boils quicker, has simmer control and does not "soot up". Only downside is that due to the simmer control it will not fit into the Trangia kettle when packing away, but does fit into the bag provided and costs about the same as the Trangia version. A jet engine of a stove
I've only had chance to use this stove on normal isopropane gas up to now , but I'm well impressed, it's so powerful it has a pan of water boiling in no time at all . Although it doesn't bother me personally, the only thing that some people may not like is the the fact that it's quite loud on full wack , but you only need that to boil water , plus , I believe that that there's a silencer of some sort available separately. The other thing I love about this stove is just how controllable the flame is , you can go from full on boil to a really low simmer and everywhere in between so you can really cook properly. I paid £189.99 for this stove, and I say it's worth every penny because judging by the build quality will last a lifetime. Lovely stove!
Very pleased with this stove. Beautiful construction, flawless performance and although not the lightest of stoves, will certainly become a great travelling companion or even something to cook on at home. Highly recommended indeed!
