    Great for APA

    Safale US-05. Great yeast for beer making. I ferment at 70 degrees f and this yeast gets the job done in just a few days. Clean flavor profile and remarkable floc rate. Produces a very clear, clean, dry beer.

    Great yeast with lengthy "best by" date

    Great yeast! The picture didn't show a date, nor did the description, so I was a little concerned about the possibility of expired packets. However once I got the yeast, it was dated 18 months from now so no worries. I've already used one packet and it is thoroughly viable.

    A single packet of Safale US-05 has never failed me when brewing a 5 gal. batch. I've recently begun making a "starter", not because it's needed... but to stretch it just a wee bit.

    Never Fails

    I have been using us-05 for many, many years now. I have never had a packet fail on me. I use it for every ale that I brew including stout, brown, red, golden, blonde and IPA. Very versatile.
