Typical Good Hozelock Quality Manufacturing
Typical good quality from Hozelock. I've only used it a couple of times as it has rained a lot. This item is quite sturdy. My previous lance lasted over ten years and was cheap and inferior. It sprang several leaks and the handle cracked in several places. I tried repairing/patching it half a dozen times using a hot glue gun but when I stumbled on this replacement I couldn't resist. Only drawback, compared to my cheaper previous lance, is this one is of fixed length whereas my other was extendable. The reach on this is okay but it's not great. Personally, I could do with an extra 30-50cm. I like the fact the whole thing can be easily dismantled and I imagine all of the parts could probably be replaced if there was an unfortunate breakage. this looks good and carry"s the hozelock name but leaks from inside the handle also own the small spray gun that leaks , but saying that it does the job and can put up with that. HOZELOCK MUST KNOW THIS HAPPENS TIME THEY SORTED THIS PROBLEM

Pay A Little More And Get A Quality Product
Last watering lance was a brand which I'd never hear of but was a good price at £15. After a few uses I found out why it was cheap! It started leaking, it was a nightmare to disconnect from the hose connector (despite the statement 'compatible with all hose connectors'), the spray head became impossible to rotate and finally the trigger broke off. The Hoselock lance is well made, doesn't leak, my hose clicks on and off easily. Quick and easy to use and adjust.
This is such a good addition for my hose pipe. For months I had struggled with a watering can when watering my hanging baskets. Now the stress has been taken away with the lance spray. It's so quick and easy to use and I wish I'd bought one years ago.

Lifes So Much Easier
I have and look after 42 baskets and 64 pots at the side of my house. Some are difficult to reach. With the lance spray I can reach all baskets and pots individually with ease while feet are firmly on the ground,where as before I had to strain or drag step ladders around (and still have difficulty watering some baskets). The different spray patterns are easy to change to depending on what you need. Also very easy to adjust the angle of spray.
