275g of quality Silicone goes a long way if used intelligently and the SG2000 resin is also superb
Extremely well thought out packaging that also serves as the mixing pot for both silicone and catalyst. They even give you a wooden spatula. Although 275g of product may not seam like very much, spending some time and effort on crafting the box around your master down to the absolute minimum space needed can make this stuff go a long way. The SG2000 resin is so easy to use being low viscosity it pours like a dream. To setting speed took me by surprise on the first use, you have to work quickly, it really does start to set within 3 minutes but once you get used to this the results are outstanding with every intricate detail faithfully reproduced, all without the use of a vacuum chamber! I managed to make molds of 5 items in 28mm scale. A stone wall, a corner of a stone wall, a wooden end ... Great value kit
As a novice at moulding and casting, I was very pleased with this easy to use kit, which came with clear instructions. The mini kit provided more than enough materials for my project, including a few practice pieces, and the included latex gloves, stirring sticks and measuring cups were very useful. The silicone made a sturdy mould, which has been used for multiple castings and is still doing a great job. The resin cures quickly and has taken primer and acrylic paint really well. The cast pieces look fantastic, are lightweight and have survived being dropped on the kitchen floor, so I won't hesitate to use polyurethane resin again.As a novice at moulding and casting, I was very pleased with this easy to use kit, which came with clear instructions. It works!
I'm using this set to mould small resin parts for my model aircraft that I have made masters for and it meets my requirements perfectly. How it would cope with bigger parts and two-part moulds I don't know as the resin goes off fairly quickly but for my needs it's ideal.

Good product at a good price suggest smaller plastic cups for smaller items also when moulding put pink mould in microwave for 30 seconds to warm also once resin is put in mould put mould in airing cupboard it needs to be at 25c to cure works well for me well pleased
