Arrived rolled and fairly well packaged. Easy to lay and feels quite comfortable under foot although has a definite 'rubber mat' smell. This mat is by my back door for my puppy to walk over when entering the house although the wet paw prints don't stop on the mat but continue still on the floor (mat is length 4-5 ft) so a little disappointed with that
