In this novel, each vampire has an aroma like a sweet dessert: German chocolate cake, brownies, etc. Heroine Lil smells like cotton candy. This is the perfect metaphor for this novel, a cotton-candy bit of fluff, humorous, great for beach reading, but nothing that'll stick to your bones. Lil starts a dating service for vampires, but most of her clients are human. Lil herself comes across as far too human for a 500-year-old vampire. She finds hunting & biting distasteful...so how did she survive all those years before bottled blood was available? Lil's vampire parents are pressuring her to get a "real" job and find a spouse. Why now, after 500 years? Lil claims to have vampire skills (super speed, super strength, mind control), but they tend to fail her, or they are not used, when they would be helpful. I feel like someone could not have been a vampire for 500 years and still be so clueless about everything except designer clothes. This plot would work better if Lil were an actual 25-year-old, exploring her independence and just learning to use her adult vampire skills. As it is, this is a fun read but Lil seems way too immature for her age. Read full review

Pros: Kimberly Raye has done it again. This is a very well written and funny book. Not your normal vampire book. Humor is prominent from the first page to the last. I would recommend it to all who love quick and funny dialog.
This was a fun book to read. It flows while you read it and you find that it is not your typical vampire book, but a humorous take on the vampire and supernatural world. I highly recommend this book!
This book was great. I like these kinds of books. The characters are not what you'd expect, which makes the book a lot more interesting
I wanted this book in hard back to keep. I enjoyed reading it and will pass it on to others. It was in very good quality! Thanks
