This lens covers the most frequently used range for photographers, and does a superb job at all focal lengths. Its very well built and surprisingly light. Its sharp for subjects like flowers, and very detailed for landscape shots at the wide end. I have this attached to my GX7, and don't normally take any other lenses, thus reducing weight on long walks. Highly recommended.

Used this lens previously on a Panasonic GF1 and found it to be pretty sharp. Went away from the micro 4/3s system and back into conventional SLRs but got fed up with the shear weight of them and once again thought I'd have another go at micro 4/3s. So when I bought a GF2 body, bought another one as the more recent 14-42 kit lens is said to be less sharp. So far am very happy with it. I find that for my type of photography, holiday landscapes, this 4/3s system is ideal. The main short comings with the system to date tend to be with the camera bodies ie poor high ISO performance but I am sure that will be fixed with time. In the mean time if you find a good lens, hang on to it!
Very nice Lens which works with my Lumix GH2 perfectly. Have had very good results. The price I paid makes this a real bargain. The auto focus is very fast would be good for video work at 1080

This is really a great piece of lens for my GF3 camera. It surely produce better picture than the previous 14-42mm. This is more solid. Much happier with this.
