Great upgrade
I had an om5, bit long in the tooth and thought may as well try the 10 seeing as the price from Thakker was so good. Boy was it worth it. What an upgrade. First record I played was Bowie, Ziggy Stardust album which I've been listening to for 30 something years and couldn't believe it. Stereo separation amazing, separation between instruments clearly improved and defined. Clarity of vocals and upper mid amazing, never heard Bowie's12 string so defined and this is an original RCA mix so not one of remastered reissues. Less surface crackles and pops with older records. Bass is tight and controlled, a little light at the moment but the stylus is new so that will improve with use as it runs in. Can't wait, when it hits that sweet spot it's going to sing.
