      Not proper fit for my model.

      This gasket may fit some models perfectly, but my 5000 had the rubber gasket with embedded brass nuts. The mounting flange for the original gasket had protruding corners that the gasket fit into. This gasket doesn't have the molded grooves to match these corners. I was able to saw the grooves deeper in the corners and just managed to get the gasket to fit between the opening and the panel. I had to install my own receiver nuts to the gasket with wires. I never got the bottom edge to seal correctly, but the top three sides seem ok.

      almost what I wanted

      Will not work on the year model tractor that I have will try to send it back. The one that came off unit mounts on the edge of opening and has nuts made into the rubber to mount the gauge

      perfect match for new cluster gauge Ford 231

      fit perfectly. Old gasket was hard and misshapen, this was the right choice to go with a new cluster gauge.
