    Brilliant and inexpensive sharpener

    I have two AccuSharp knife sharpeners, one for the kitchen and one for my fishing boat. They are safe and easy to use and produce a fine edge. The tool will sharpen any size of knife, and when the carbide inserts wear out (mine are still in great working order) they can be reversed and used again. I don't use mine on my Japanese knives preferring to use a stone but for everyday sharpening you can't go far wrong.

    Very handy easy to use knife sharpener.

    It took a little while to get the best result out of it, but finally I worked out that it does need a small amount of downward pressure to get the best result especially on my very large Chef 's knife.

    Best and easiest sharpener around

    I love this sharpener and try to get everyone I know to get one. The one I bought this time was a gift to use with the new stuff for a new bungalow. I've never found a sharpener quite like this one. I have a lovely professional one too, plus the regular blue and white one. I love the fact that you can get new blades for them, although they're not easy to find. Can't beat it!!

    Effective sharpening, quick and easy to use

    Excellent sharpener that is so easy to use. It is tough and safe and really brings a knife blade back to being sharp and effective. It is not a subtle sharpener and doesn't do fine honing - but for everyday use with every size of kitchen knife it is a quick way to ensure a good blade
